Two items off the bucket list: I saw the Emerald Buddha, something I've been thinking about since I first heard of it about fifty years ago, (Did I just say that?) and the Reclining Buddha. One pays for these sights with a lot of jostling in crowds and a lot of fume-breathing, and what a reward. More on this later, but here are some sights from the day. No Buddhas involved:
